Following this weeks reading I look back at the many new things I learned and now think about. For example how much less the youth will need to know skill wise. In the future teens will no longer have to go through the pain staking process of drivers ed because cars will be self sustaining vehicles that can drive on their own. Like some people say with the way were are evolving and how quickly we may just end up like the people in the Disney Pixar movie Wall-E. Maybe not to that extreme however we may just be close to it considering how humanity is right now. Anyways on another note I'd like to talk about that great job fair we had, yeah let's talk about that. So, my initial thought on the whole process was that it would be a lot more professional than it really was. Now I'm not hating on the whole procedure I just wish that The interview process was less of people choosing employees based on the fact that they were friends and more based on their skill level. i'm sure that a lot of people did choose employees that way, but it seems that many people I've heard complaints from would have been much more suitable for the jobs. If for some god forsaken reason this project is ever replicated My hopes are that the process goes more like how a legitimate job interview would go, you know If their are multiple applicants for the same job they could do a group interview. And, if they do one on one interviews it would be actually one on one not in an area with multiple interviews going on around them. On to the last topic for which this post is lovingly named after, advertisements! This past week we read and learned a lot about ads and their affect on society and the people within society. So, in response to the question of whether or not they shape or reflect our society, I would like to say that i don't have a fully formed opinion on the matter. Advertisements have always been around since the dawn of soap and military tanks to more recent Kylie Jenner makeup products and selfie sticks.
