1. It was easy to measure my success throughout the month because each time I introduced a group I was able to say what I wanted clearer and quicker which was necessary for them because they only had an hour to get through.
2. I was able to help student who wanted to make their own escape room understand how they work and what not to do. I gave them insight on working in a student made escape room and the things that made it worth it.
3. Working in this escape room helped me to understand that some things take trial and error and will not always work out the first time, a lesson that i believe will help me in my future education.
4. I was able top introduce the idea of project based learning to teachers outside of the High Tech system, teachers who wanted to bring project based learning into their own schools. A lot of them knew what it was but didn't know where to start or how they should introduce it to their students, so myself and other High Tech kids were able to fill them in on ways to ease into it in their own schools.
5. I learned that I am somewhat of a control freak (haha) not a horrible thing, but I found that I think about the most logical way to do things. I don't always think this way, but in situations such as school and at a job I try to make it as easy for myself and those around me rather than take the most difficult route which wastes time and effort.
